Center for the Somali Youth Union has generated jobs for group of Somali females in Mogadishu, Somalia
On Friday April 5th 2019, the Center for the Somali Youth Union was able to provide twenty adolescent females who live in Mogadishu capital city of Somalia with a new opportunity. The group included less fortunate, widows, single mothers and orphaned youth.
The program project is called support new and existing small businesses. This opportunity provided three hundred dollars to each of the twenty women to support entrepreneurship. Specifically, the program provides assistance to new businesses, and support current businesses financially.
The aim of the program is to provide Somali women with independence and empowerment. The Center for the Somali Youth Union encourages Somali females to be active members in society and in the world.
This is the fourth year that the Center for the Somali Youth Union has successfully created opportunities for Somali females in Mogadishu, Somalia.
